With the sanction of the University of Calicut, Degree Course in English language and Literature was started in our college in January, 2000 with a strength of twenty four students. We follow the conventional pattern with British History and Political science as subsidiary subjects. We also give special attention to spoken English. The department envisages to produce literally inspired, intellectually and morally upright youth for the nation and to groom them in to specially responsible citizens of India by impating knowledge which is empowering, value-based and integral in nature.
