The Department started in 2015 as the degree course in Social Work.

Make social work professionals who will be at the forefront of social developments, social reformation, Democracy, Social Empowerment, Human well-being and also in mobilizing efforts to end inequalities, exploitations and discriminations through ethical social work education, training and innovative practical sessions.

• Molding of ethical social workers who are prepared to serve as leaders in social developments and social reformance with social commitments.
• Students graduate with knowledge, skills, practice and expertisation in different aspects of social work with more values and ethics of the social work profession.
